What's On?

STRONG Mens Conference 2025

STRONG is an annual conference hosted by Lakeside. This is an all day event for Christian men across the North West to meet God and meet others.

STRONG conference seeks to equip men like yourself to thrive in their God given calling. Through practical teaching, tasty food and connection with others. You will be inspired to live a faith-filled, meaningful and impactful life as a 'STRONG' man of God.

In 2025 we are delighted to be welcoming guest speaker Leon Evans to unpack the 'Endure' theme with crucial insights, practical examples and strategies to help you in your walk of faith. On the fourth Wednesday of each month Lakeside men's ministry 'STRONG' meet for Encounter. These nights are a time where the men press into God. So, come filled up and fired up to become more like Jesus as we pursue Him together and all He has for us.

Prospects

A Place To Belong.

Prospects meets here at Lakeside and is an incredible ministry that reaches out to adults with learning difficulties. The group was started many years ago by a church member who had a vision for introducing the gospel to adults with learning difficulties, so that they may learn more about the Christian faith.

Each week we have around 30-40 people attending (including carers) and there is always room for more. As well as our own meetings, members of the Prospects Group are regular attenders at our Sunday gatherings, and are encouraged to participate in other Church activities as they are able.
